Designing
a lesson plan
Introduction
You are a teacher working in a school / college. You are teaching English to high school /
college students. You are very
passionate about your job. You love experimenting with new techniques and technology
in classroom teaching.
Task
Design a lesson plan to teach either one of these items:
poem / a scene from a play/ short story/ prose / grammar / letter writing / any
other language skill. Your lesson should make use of technology in classroom
teaching. The lesson should require the technological component and should not
be used as only an add-on for entertainment.
Process
1. Read
the following article about lesson plan to get a clear picture about the
importance of lesson plan. Your lesson plan should be practically doable and
should not exist only on paper.
2. Use
the template given in the class blog for your lesson plan.
3. Check

Evaluation
(1) Self Evaluation:
After you complete your
lesson plan, using the rubric posted in the class blog do a self – evaluation of
your lesson plan. Revise it based on your self evaluation.

(2) Peer Evaluation
Check two of your classmates’ lesson
plans and give feedback in the comments section based on the evaluation rubric.

Conclusion
Based
on the feedback given by your friends, revise your lesson plan and finally
submit the hard copy to the teacher.
Along
with the lesson plan, write a short essay on webquests based on the following
articles and submit it for your assessment / assignment.
